1) Sound bridge of running tap water over the titles and loud or start sound track earlier. 2) at 0.50 blur or fragment image of Ella through the window or change to black and white. 3) 12.40 as Louis opens door:
i)Dissolve into shot of Ella in woods
ii) Then dissolve into real time shot and repeat. Gun shot suggests end of film not beginning! So
iii) As Ella is about to pull the trigger dissolve into under water shot in sink with Ella emerging out of it ..with constant knocking at door. You could repeat this with different shots of Ella with gun but rather haphazard to suggest panic or dream.
iv) End film with Louis looking out window and hearing repeated gun shots... to suggest opening to a film.
